Using pre-defined holidays
Based on your installation, your system comes with a set of pre-defined public holidays specific to your location that you may want to adapt:
- Go to “Calendar” > “Holiday selection”
- Select (deselect) all holidays you do (not) want to use in your system
- Navigate to the tab to the left, i.e. “Holidays”
=> A miniature calendar is displayed, indicating all the public holidays that have already been correctly set for your system; these are listed in “Holidays already set”
=> Your previously selected holidays are listed in “Holidays that have not been set” - Click any of the holidays from the list of non-set holidays
=> A pop-up window (i.e. “Enter holidays”) is displayed - (OPTIONAL) If applicable, you can adjust the “Description” (e.g. holiday name) and “Date” to your needs
HINT: you can define the date either by entering it in the date field or simply by clicking the day in the miniature calendar - At “Duration”, select whether the holiday will account for a whole or half day off
- Click “OK” to finish editing this holiday
- Repeat the procedure for all non-set holidays
- Once there are no more entries in “Holidays that have not been set”, click “Save” at the bottom of the page
HINT: If you don’t want to change anything about the pre-defined holidays, you can also click “Set holidays automatically” at the bottom of the page – don’t forget to click “Save” at the end if you’re happy with the result
Adding a new, custom holiday
- At the bottom of the page, click “Add new holiday”
- Fill out “Description”, “Date” and “Duration”
HINT: see “USING PRE-DEFINED HOLIDAYS” above for more information on each field - Click “OK” at the end of the window
=> The new holiday is now listed in “Holidays already set”
