Preconditions

  • Go to “Activities” > “Activity list”
  • There are existing activities in your system

Steps

Copying via “Current selection”

  1. Filter for specific activities and (multi-)select one or several activity/activities in the list
  2. Click “Copy” at the end of the page
    => “Copy work package” window is displayed, “Current selection” is shown and preselected work packages are listed
  3. Include/exclude specific data (e.g. tasks, milestone markers, …) using the checkboxes on the left
  4. Select a “Target job” (“to” line)
  5. Finally, click “OK”
    => The target job is displayed, including the activities copied in the previous step

Copying “From job”

  1. Without preselecting, click “Copy” at the end of the page
    => “Copy work package” window is displayed, “From job” is shown and no work packages are listed
  2. Select a specific job from the job selector (in the “From job” line)
    => All work packages related to this job are listed for copying
  3. Include/exclude specific data (e.g. tasks, milestone markers, …) using the checkboxes on the left
  4. Select a “Target job” (“to” line)
  5. Finally, click “OK”
    => The target job is displayed, including the activities copied in the previous step

Moving work package deadlines

  1. (Multi-)select the work packages that you want to change the deadlines for and click “Move” at the end of the page
    => “Move deadline” window is displayed
  2. Now you can change the deadline by either selecting
    1. “Move by” (i.e. deadline will be moved to the future according to number of work days / calendar days specified here)
    2. “Align time plan to” => (i.e. shift the start or end dates of the selected activities to a specified date, keeping the originally defined time frame/s)
    3. “Uniform dates” (i.e. all selected work packages will have the same start and/or end dates based on the date(s) defined here)
  3. Click “Ok”
    => The deadlines have been changed according to your choice
