General information

  • use the extended search to filter for specific criteria when viewing contact details

Steps

  1. Go to “Addresses” > “Extended search”
  2. At “Search criteria”, select your first search criterion from the drop-down list (e.g. “Address”)
    => the criterion is displayed as text and, depending on the chosen criterion, subordinate search criteria for the selected one are displayed
  3. From the now displayed drop-down list, select a subordinate criterion (e.g. “City/Town”)
  4. Enter a search criterion in the text field next to the list (e.g. “London”)
  5. (optional) Repeat the previous steps to add more search criteria
  6. (optional) At “Show fields”, click “Edit” to adapt the information displayed with the search results
    1. Click one/several field(s) (multi-select possible) in the left-most column “Available fields” and click the right-faced arrow to display this information for each line of the search results (e.g. “Person | phone number”)
    2. Likewise, click the left-faced arrow to remove specific displayed information
    3. Use the right-most column “Displayed tags” to display tags associated with each search result
  7. Once you’re happy with your query, click “Search” at the bottom of the page
    => All the matching records for your search are displayed, (optionally) including any extra information set in “Show fields”

SAVING QUERIES: At the bottom of the page, click “Save search result” > enter a name for your query => once the query has been saved, you can apply them in “Addresses” > “Quick search” > “saved search queries”
